Wing Hing International is a Chinese investment holding company, devoted solely to promoting mining and mining investment. Its own coal mines include those of Shuishan, Tiechong and Xinghe in the Peoples Republic; it also has holdings in gold.

In early April 2011, Wing Hing bought an 87% stake in a private South African gold company, Taung Gold,in return for which Taung's own shareholders would hold 84% of Wing Hing, once the transaction is completed. It marked the first time that an African mining and metal company had listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKx) [Xinhua, 8 April 2011; Bloomberg, 7 April 2011].
